I don't know if this is a chicken or egg situation but most teaware potters pour their energy into teapots, where there’s more room to play.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1224\"\u003eThat’s why I was so excited to see Jonathan stick with this form — iterating for over a year, tweaking, refining — and arrive here. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLast year his gaiwans were beautiful as all his pottery is but functionally... I just wasn't excited yet. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBut these...\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese gaiwans are balanced, comfortable, and pour beautifully.
