Sheng Studio

The Sheng studio is led by a power couple in Yixing.

Mrs. Sheng makes fully handmade pots (one or two a month) that sell for thousands of dollars—crazy, but when you consider it takes 2 weeks full time to make them, it starts to make sense. 

Mr. Sheng, on the other hand, oversees the pottery studio and development of these half-handmade pots we sell. 

We went to many studios in Yixing and found these were as affordable as possible while still having the essence of Yixing.
