Master's Cups or 主人杯(zhǔ rén bēi) in Chinese shouldn't just be reserved for the elite or those who want to shell out around $100 for a woodfired tea bowl.
But there is something intriguing about a bowl that still feels like it has been made by a master.
This bowl features a great balance with a slight pull downward.
...which makes it feel lighter, regardless of the actual weight.
While Jingdezhen is known for its extremely thin and dare I say dainty at times porcelain, you won't have to worry about that with this bowl, as it feels substantial in the hand.
If that wasn't enough for you... the glaze on these surely will be.
From the minty green and dark splotches reminding us of jadeite to the bright blue with fractals that look like a frozen ocean, the glaze on these put them over the top.
We couldn't get over the new Glacial Mint glaze from Liu(the glaze specialist)so we are also debuting it on vase cups and in the Taste Taste Boom Gaiwan set.
