These are one of the styles that I was most excited about in the July Drop. The cloud design on the soft crackling glaze that will patina is ever so satisfying to look at.
These bowls definitely have a good bit of weight which feel great in the hand but I'm a bit of a rim weenie. I like very thin rims so while I love the design I prefer the rim of the Cloud Form | 35ml but if you don't feel as strongly about rims this is an amazing bowl for the price.
I love my new Cloud Form cup that I purchased at the Chicago Tea Festival. This is my 2nd piece from Tao, and I enjoy using it as much as my Dragon Fist gaiwan, which I purchased in 2024. These pieces are beautifully made, durable and easy to clean. I use them almost daily, and have not had any issues with either piece. I will definitely purchase from Tao again.
