Despite the printed Qinghua, this jar is a complete work of craft.A perfectly fitting screw top lid that is satisfying in its smoothness, an inside lid to further seal the tea, it feels like we’re breaking into Fort Knox when we’re getting out our teas.
The Qinghua, blue painted floral motifs on white porcelain, is a classic style, but often associated with the older generations of tea lovers both in China and abroad.We’re excited to see the quality of such a print on porcelain, as it opens up some interesting opportunities for artist collaborations in the future.
The jar itself holds a decent amount of tea, maybe 250 grams of pressed or rolled tea, or less of a big loose leafer.
