There are few things in ceramics that feel more Chinese than celadons.  

Kind of a confusing term and misnomer...

if you want to get technical with regards to celedons these glazes are reduction fired with iron oxides that give very pure faint 青 | qing | a sometimes blue and sometimes green color that's said to remind people of the wispy mountains in China as the fog and light roll off of the mountain peaks.

These technical celedons like the Drip and Fine Celadon are challenging to make and expensive to produce(typically reserved for high quality handmade work). 

Which is where pieces like the Mesmeraldo start to shine.

These cups emulate the characteristics of the reduction fired iron oxide but in a much more stable, aka simpler process, aka much more affordable price while still offering the depth of dark lines as the glaze pools in cracks for a subtle beauty that contrasts some of the bolder blue and while porcelain or wood fired teaware.

These are for the old souls and the sublty lovers not those who want big and flashy teaware.
