Yue Chao has been one of our long-standing favorite teaware makers in and out of Jingdezhen.  He primarily focuses on wood-fired wares and creates some of the finest porcelain brew cups we have ever handled.

These pour cups mark the first expansion of his line from strictly brew cups into other tea vessels.  With a rounded more vase-like body these pour cups are ergenomic, artistic, and wonderful to handle.  Made of a groggier clay than pristine finer porcelain wares, this line continues to impress us with their rustic and unique look.

As each wood-fired piece is unique, we have created separate variants for each individual piece.

The main challenge with these pieces was their thinner walled bodies and some of them took more to the heat of the wood kiln and are slightly misshapen.
