The knife feels solid and works well. I must say I was a little surprised when I received it because it did not look the same as in the pictures. What I received looks longer, narrower, and does not flare where the blade meets the handle the same way the picture shows. Maybe it's a matter of the angle of the photo but I tried to manipulate the knife to match what I see in the picture and I could not. I was slightly disappointed because it changes the aesthetic and feel, but it is a solid piece and perfectly functional.
