There are certain characteristics you don't often see in clay bodies... and deep blacks like these are one of them. 

These pieces are equally as fine as some of the Yue Chao's more flashy pieces like the Dragon's Breath but with much more subtly.  

If you need loud to enjoy your teaware these aren't going to be for you, 

but...

if you like texture in the hand, examining your teaware up close, then this cup will be one you bring out often to use yourself or share with a friend

Each of these pieces are handmade and wood fired so there will be natural variations with the pattern and movement from the fire in the kiln.
