Whalesong is a wonderful edition to my teapot collection. I love the smooth but speckled body; it plays a fine balanced between being refined and preserving those natural textural qualities of the clay. The body is bulbous, but all the other additions—the knob, spout, handle—are so dainty and precisely made. The lid fit is perfect, and the spout is incredibly sexy... gives me the tingles. Overall, I'm just excited to be using this pot, and I'm looking forward to seeing the clay season and darken over time. Thanks a million, Dart and Derek!
