I love my Apple. This stunning piece truly resembles its namesake. The lid and corresponding shoulder are wafer-thin and fit each other perfectly. Because of this, you do not need to hold them when pouring. The flow is smooth and quick.
Love the lid design and side handle! It took a couple of sessions to trust that the lid wouldn’t fall out, but now I never think about it. Great feature!
Finally pulled the trigger and got this little guy after mulling over which teapot to get for a few months. I was drawn to all of the side-handled Chaozhou pots, but the design and larger capacity of the OG Apple were the deciding factors for me. I knew this would be small, but was still surprised when I opened the box. It still produces about as much tea as my 120 ml gaiwan despite its deceptively small size. The handle is a bit small for my hands, so I would recommend one of the other side-handled pots if you anticipate that being an issue. I still love it, I just have to be careful not to rest my knuckle on the body when I'm pouring. I may still get one of the longer side-handled pots ... for research :).
