Collection: October 2025

October is all about fire.

The kind that tests patience, rewards risk, and leaves its story on every surface it touches.

This month we’re celebrating two very different but equally exciting wood-fired releases — one from close to home, and one from across the sea — plus new teas to pair with them.

For years, Jonathan has been hosting us at Northwest Tea Fest, helping build the small teapot community we love.

This is the first time we’ve actually been able to share his work,

 and it doesn’t disappoint.

Every pot carries the marks of flame and ash, but more importantly, they’re made by a potter who brews tea daily.

That means these forms don’t just look right... they feel right.

To celebrate, the first 10 orders came with Jonathan’s bunny teapets.

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we have a soft spot for Qinzhou clay...

 especially when it meets fire.

This latest batch from Master Huang’s studio brings serious variety:

bold shapes,
metallic finishes,
flashes of yellow ash,
and a few wild kiln textures that shouldn’t exist (but thankfully do).

These are larger than our last batch, and each one is completely unique.

If you’ve wanted to experience real wood fire texture without the “sell a kidney” price tag, this is your chance.

We’ve also got a few Oracle teapets from the same firing and the matching Stump Cups to tie it all together.
