Yes, I should and will say more. If you are a teapot kinda person and you really don't want to use a gaiwan and you'd like to have something to travel with or as a first teapot this teapot is perfect it's a good size it feels nice in the hands and it's very affordable.

I really like the size of the pot and quantity of tea which can be made. It spills a little, but it’s not big issue for me. It’s a good piece to take on the go!

Everything is wonderful as usual. I'm pleasantly surprised with how nice this little pot is. Do hold on to the lid, but otherwise it's a long pour, so pick and time your steeps accordingly. I've already used it a few times and I think for me, it's going to be a good pot for silver needle and Oolongs. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites as it's a good size for daily use and not as costly as my hand made pots. It's got character on its own and cleans fairly easily with larger leaf teas.

I ordered this as well as two gaiwans as part of my first purchase from TaoTeaware.
It’s heavier than expected and the lid fits just a little loosely, but overall all this a fabulous teapot for the price. Large hands may have difficulty with the thin handle size (I wish it was just a little thicker/larger). Not for flash steeps, be patient with the poor and appreciate the beautiful glaze and gold details..The pot was packaged securely with biodegradable packing media, the box doubles as a cheat sheet with basic info on clay types and general brewing instructions by tea type. I really appreciate the thought and care TaoTeaware puts into their business. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely be coming back!!
