Shipping for this product went by faster than I thought. Packaging was very secure and really exciting to open up. The pot also came with some sample tea coins (not cake), but I wasn’t sure what type or whether or not it was compatible with the pot itself. Not kidding when they said it’s chocolatey smooth (the external of the pot) and it only gets better when it gets warmed up. My favorite part is how well the lid fits the body of the pot. It’s insanely smooth and very satisfying to twist around when brewing. Not quite sure how consistent this can be, but you can stop the flow of tea when blocking the little hole for air on top. The weight of the pot itself is something to get used to but the weight distribution makes it very comfortable and safe to pour without the lid popping out. The pour itself is also really great, giving you the glass rod experience. I would recommend this product for sessions with multiple people cuz it was bigger than I expected and has a pretty large capacity, but definitely still useable for solo sessions. Overall, great product that was worth the price, especially during the Black Friday sale with the discount and free shoumei tea cake.
